Woah Baby!

 Hello again loves! Here I am yet again on cloud nine. Boy the last few months have been busy! My family has gone through so many changes in the last year and we couldn't  be more blessed. Since everything with with covid 19 I can honestly say the last year and a half have been anything but boring. Back in February of 2020 at the very beginning of the pandemic we welcomed our second son. Then of course just a mere week after the world was set into chaos, between the toilet paper shortage, the quarantine, and everything else. Here we where left at home with nothing to do. 

Shortly after which when our son was only nine months old our already crazy life got just a bit busier. Due to Covid putting basically everything on hold, my husband's vasectomy got set the bottom of the To do list. Naturally God laughed at our plans of our second son being our last and we found out we where pregnant again. This makes for a total of five children between my husband and I. While we don't always have all five children with us, we are still a blended family and that means our tiny two bedroom one bath rental would no longer work for us. We started hunting for a new place. Thankfully in March of 2021 our landlord had a property come available and we have spent the last few months moving into our new home for the next two years. 

 So fast forward we get all moved in and here we are in July. I'm still in a sea of boxes, my dad has now come to Idaho twice, one of my best friends and her beautiful family have come to visit and now it's time for our sweet new baby to make an entrance. Just a week ago we welcomed our daughter Shiloe to the world and we are over the moon!

To be honest the Crawligator is a fantastic concept, however my son was an early crawler so by the time we got our hands on this he wanted nothing to do with laying on it! But he did love to sit on it. He was very comfortable with the idea of it. 

It does not work on anything other than a flat surface. So carpet will not work! it moves smoothly and quietly on  the floor. the spaces between the actual crawligator and the floor are slim and small so no fingers and toes will get caught!

What a challenge

2020 has brought so much change to our lives that where do we even begin? Here we are ten months in to the year, with only two left to go and I think I can safely say as each month passes we are all riding on the edge of our seats. Between the Pandemic, The election, Social Movements and even killer hornets- are we still talking about this or is that over?

Many thanks to this year, while it has been challenging, I have been trying to see the beauty in all of it. So just a little blurb about all of the beauty in my year this far! 

If you have been following my blog, you will know back in February, my husband and I welcomed our second son! He is now eight months old and growing so quickly! He started crawling and pulling himself up at five months. He is cutting his first two bottom teeth as well. He said Mama at six months. He is just so precious. 

Then there is the oldest boy child, we decided to home school. That was rough to start. But now we are over a month in and he is doing well! In fact he is testing at the top of his classes! We have a groove and it works well! He lost his very first tooth and between July and August he shot up four inches!!

Back in march we traveled to Arizona ( Oh i know the tragedy we traveled during the pandemic with a newborn) but well we had a newborn and my entire family was there who had yet to meet him. We also celebrated my grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Which in todays world that is a beautiful thing. and more lately than not my family has needed beautiful things like births and 50th anniversaries to celebrate! So check your judgements! Then in June some of that same family came here! 

In August My husbands Family had a family reunion, so we spent five days camping with our family making this the first camping trip for our littlest one! 

There was a change in ownership with the company I work with, so I stepped back from management, going from 60+ hours a week to less than 20 ( also thanks to help from Corona!) Which that in itself has been a huge blessing! As crazy as my kids drive me. I forgot how much I am missing with my babies. So I have been home for so much this year!! 

So as this year comes to a close, why don't we put aside the chaos and challenges, and try to see the beauty in it all!

Good Vibes with the Simple Essentials

May has gotta bring good vibes! I do not know about you, but being as that I am mostly stuck at home I am not only bored but I am starting to get into a funk! Marjoram is an oil that is good for menstrual cramping, helps to sooth tight muscles, and encourages relaxtion. I love how the smell is soothing and not over powering! This one is great in blends and on its own!

Tangerine, this one is fantastic for a sweet citrus smell! It can aid in soothing a quesy stomach. I actually used tangerine oil when I was pregnant to help with my morning sickness. It is also fantastic to clear the mind! I often times blend this one with lavendar in my diffuser. My husband is not a huge fan of my diffuser but this one is one he actually likes.

Ladies Choice blend, this one is a blend of clary sage, marjoram, geranium and lavender. This is a subtle scent and again not an overpowering one! It is used for that time of the month to help ease PMS Symptoms.

The Good Vibes blend is floral meets citrus to help balance your hormones and have you feeling right in no time! With the blending of Clary Sage, Geranium, Lavendar, Lemon and Ho Wood, not only will you find a better balance within, but it can help alleviate stress. Using it as a roll on, in a diffuser, or even on essential oil jewelry!

Speaking of Roll on, This Good Vibes Roll on is wonderful! This is now in my bag everyday. I have PCOS and I am also ten weeks post partum... My hormones are a hot mess!! Apply this to the pulse points and you are good to go!

Simply earth sent me several different recipes and I am loving them all! I gave the cramp compress and the bath soak a spin yesterday. Between working and my hormones and my entire body really being out of whack, Both of these helped to aleviate a lot of physical pain I am feeling right now. After a nice long bath I laid down with the compress in my chair and I passed out and did not budge until the baby did!

So one of my favorite items in my house are my diffusers!! I use them basically everyday! I made up the master blend with this recipe! I love this! Spring Day Diffuser blend is calming and smells sweet with both floral and citrus scents.
