30 day blog challenge: Day 4

Day 4 of my 30 day blog challenge
What is your dream Job?

Well I am not sure how to answer this. Realistically my dream job is to be a stay at home mom. Raise my babies, Cook and clean and I even want to home school. Yea.... Believe it or not that is actually what I want to do. I think that is why this whole social distancing thing is not phasing me as much.

But if we are talking a job that pays...Honestly I do not know. I know I want to eventually go back to school to get a degree in Marketing and maybe an associates in Business.  I am not sure what I want to do though.

After doing some research on the fly I have found the top three I have considered. All are marketing Jobs. Kind of what I do now. with my blog. unfortunately a lot of places do not go based on no degree. So I will need one of those.

1. Marketing Director or Coordinator
2. Media Planner
3. Event Marketing Specialist

However right now this is all just talks. I have gone and dropped out of college three times. This would take a lot of self discovery and some talk with my husband. So we shall so see what happens.

But this question of the day now has me searching online about a degree in marketing.

So we shall see...

Again I want to Direct you to Cha's Blog. She is the reason I am doing this Challenge! Go check her out at https://littlemisadvencha.com/

  1. As a person who never thought I would enjoy the role of "stay at home mom" I actually enjoy it too. However I feel ya on the wanting more like the ability to make money and be that momma at home taking care of the kiddos.

Remember, you can do anything you want if you really put your mind to it no matter your age or how many times you failed in the past.

  2. I can't see myself being a stay at home mom and maybe this is why I find this whole quarantine situation very difficult. I like to be out and about and do the job that I love: being a travel writer.

  4. Marketing is a good business to go into and there is nothing wrong with being an at home mom. If I could do it over again, I would have stayed home a little longer with my girls. But if I had my dream job, I'd have my own restaurant.

  5. I find it so interesting that some people have a DREAM job and some of us don't. If I'm being honest I'd love to be a travel blogger. But if we're talking about a "real" job I have no idea.

  7. I think it is great that you can do something you always wanted to do and dream of other jobs that might interest you. I have changed my career twice already and I love that I don't have to be stuck with one dream, it can grow with us as we grow and change in life. Marketing would be a really interesting degree for sure!

  8. I loved staying home when my kids were little and really believed that is all I wanted to do. Then my kids go a little older and I worked part-time at a bank a couple blocks away. Not the best pay, not very challenging, but i earned an income and it was easy to leave if one of my kids were sick, didn't have school, etc. Then they got even older, and less dependent and I really looked at what I wanted to do with my future. Went back to school, got a degree, started working at a crazy busy law firm, where I continued for the next 5 years. I guess my point is your dream job may change as your phases in life do. You have great ideas for your future but no need to rush as our babies are only little once <3

  9. I went back to College to get my Business - Marketing diploma at the age of 30, when I felt called to pursue a change in career. As a 'mature student', I was at a different stage in life than I was when I went for my Music degree. This time, feeling more self-directed, I opted for online delivery for my courses - I took my entire diploma worth of courses online, showing up only for exams. It definitely was something that I had to get used to but I loved how it worked around my current schedule so nicely. I guess what I'm saying is 'where there's a will, there's a way'. If this is what you want, go for it!

  10. It would be great for you to realize your dreams. I make it 3/4 of the way through college and dropped out. I don't imagine I'll ever go back for that final year, especially since the world has changed so much since I dropped out and got married. But it's all good. You never know where life will take you!

  13. I don't think I have a dream job now. I had it, I left it because it was too stressful and now I'm just floating about with ideas rather than dreams.
I don't think there's anything wrong with not knowing what we want to do indefinitely.

  15. Marketing is a great skill to have under your belt. One piece of advice I can give you is that you don't need a degree to succeed in marketing. The biggest struggle you will face is finding an area to specialise. You can start your training for free by doing the Google Digital Garage.

  17. I love that your dream job is being a SAHM! I have been there, and I loved it when my kids were really young. I think mine would be either an Attorney or Author. I used to be a paralegal and have a Masters degree in legal studies so it wouldn't be too far of a stretch.
